Error Message: Error WK2205 - Remote programming needs WIBU-BOX programming counter value 6 instead of 2

Problem Description:
A network administrator contacted DAR Technical Support with the above error message. He indicated that he reformatted the computer with the WIBU License server installed. He followed the directions to re-install the WIBU License server, and the WIBU program gave him the above message.

Solution/Work-around:
When the WIBU software is updated with the remote programming file, the information is stored on the dongle (either USB or parallel), and NOT the computer itself. Even when you reformat the license server computer, there is no need to go through the remote update process when installing the WIBU License Server software.

Simply installing the license server software, and starting the server will allow AAA to run over the network. No update is required.

To check which version/update the license server is running, open the Control Panel and start the WIBU-Key applet. If the screen with the box contents shows 2105 and 25 in the first row, you have the latest version (AAA 2.5 in this case).

This information solved the problem, and the user is back to running AAA.
